Being Accessible, Close To Constituents: Lawrence City Hall Office Up and Running

city-hall-threeJust a few months after she was elected two years ago, Sen. L’Italien opened a local district office in Lawrence City Hall to be closer to her constituents. With the support of Mayor Dan Rivera, the Lawrence delegation — Reps. Diana DiZoglio, Frank Moran and Marcos Devers — Sen. L’Italien hosted an open house at the new office in Room 203.

“Having a local office for my district was a priority of mine and I’m pleased Mayor Rivera has been so helpful in making it happen,” Sen L’Italien said at the 2015 opening. “As I traveled around the district last year it became clear to me that I wanted a full-time presence in Lawrence to help our residents access state services. This office represents a new level of engagement that I’m happy we are able to provide.”
